Heart attack and cymbalta

My husband had been on cymbalta for 5 months. He had no appetite, nausea, hot flashes,extreme fatigue and his personality totally changed. He lost his light. After a few months he developed a cough, chest congestion and wheezing. Doctors said he had the flu. On Feb.23rd he suffered a major heart attack and died. In my opinion and heart of hearts cymbalta played a starring role in his death. Beware

Hi Sad widow,

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you are going to some grief counseling, since this is such a recent event. I don't know if the medication had anything to do with his heart attack or not, but it is quite a coincidence.

Keep posting, as we are all here for you. It sounds like the doctors didn't know what they were talking about. Again I am sorry for your loss.
