Hi Family- question of the day:

When was the last time you did something really nice for someone else?

 

I know its only small, but i just did all the dishes for my dad cos he has menieres disease and bulging discs in his back and I wanted to give him a break from standing up at the sink- there were alot of dishes!

How bout you?

Well you asked for anything and this simple one popped into my head..............

The young man installing our carpeting asked if he could have a glass of water as the temp was hot and humid and he was working alone the first day.  I kept his glass full of ice water the whole time he was here. It is simple but it felt good to keep him hydrated. cool

I picked up an elderly ladies lawn mower form the repair shop for her. It didn't seem like a big deal to me, but she really appreciated it. That made me feel really good. Also where I work, I was drawing people maps for directions to get to a near by city. There was road work going on and they were all having to detour.

Doing nice things for others always has made me feel good.

I bought my mom a litle fridge so she could have her gf food and her pop in the room with her at the nursing home. Her food and drinks were mysteriously disappearing from the community kitchen.

The nursing home is just like a college dorm--without the partying. :-)

hung some pics 4 my neighbour today, last week did some mentoring with a friend who need some help with a large written task, he gets the shakes, severly. today, chilled out watching some cars race on the box with a mate of mine. jamie
