Pristiq doesn't seem to be helping

I know its only been 12 days but the Pristiq doesn't seem to be working (50 mg).  I don't know if it needs more time or a higher dosage but I'm losing it.

Prestique is suppose to be one of the better antidepressants. I would give it more time. 12 days isn't enough to see if it is going to work or not. Like Kitt said, it takes four to six weeks to reach it's full effect. so be patient.

Keep posting, we are all here for you. and others who have tried this medication can let you know how it went for them.

i feel sooooo much better on the pristiq. 50mg is a very mild dose, my doc told me to increase it after 14 days. 4 months or so now. on 200mg. holding, and it is still very good despite some emotional stuff going on. see doc about increasing it maybe? wish you well. keep well and take are of you. jamie.
