My computer is still not working so I am at the library catching up.  Things have pretty much been the same in my life except for a miracle, a sign or just God's way of saying, "Hang in there Teresa, I know your Heart and your faith with always lead you to the place where you want to be".

 

Everyday is another day without miracles but a couple days ago, I did see my angel.  My depression has been bad but I made a promise that I would not give up.  This is one of the most important promises I will make. 

 

Thanks everyone for your prayers, I know that some of you know what I mean!!

Hi everyone~

Just stopped by the library to catch up on my mail.   Things have been difficult this past weekend as I am seeing how little I matter to people that are supposed to care about me.  I think I spend more time trying to figure out why I put up with what I do when instead I should be spending time trying to do better for myself.  This is bad to say but I really dont have much self-esteem left.  Or maybe I am just tired, dont really know.

 

I am looking for better dayz!!!!!!!!!

You do sound tired to me. I can feel it in your post. Try not to think so much. Let things happen. Things will get better. Get some rest too. It helps you think clearly.

I feel that you need to give yourself a rest also.  Try not to be so hard on  yourself.  I understand that feeling of being alone in a crowd or wondering where all of the people we loved and supported have gone to but then new people enter our lives...................

Thanks you guys for your replies.  My computer is still not working so here I am at the library again.  The library is having its book sale and for me, more memories of a time when I was happier.

 

I have found a therapist in my city and will be able to see a doctor in a few months.  I am so restless and scared because I dont know what or who will be able to take care of my health and implant.  For the first time in a long time, I am once again scared to death of what treatment I will or will not receive.

 

BETTER DAYZ!!!!!!!! That is what keeps me going.

hey faith. the past is gone, the here is now- and the future is going to happen. you can't change your past, you can be and work on the here and now, the future, well.......your choices in the here and now plus a myriad of things will create what is going to happen in the future.

F4Y, you do sound tired. The good news is that you have within you the ability to change anything that you want to. You yourself said that you don't know why you put up with whatever you put up with. It really is okay if you don't put up with crap from people and look after yourself. When you stop putting up with all the negative stuff around you it will help your self esteem. Hopefully from there the snowball of positive changes will start rolling.

Drawing a line in the sand and standing by it is extremely empowering. What have you got to lose?

I am so glad to hear that you have found a counselor & that you will have an appointment with a doctor coming up in a couple months. Hopefully all of that will help.

Realize that just b/c some people are not very caring isn't a reflection on you at all, but rather a reflection on them. You sound like such a nice, sensitive, caring person & deserve to have people in your life who are the same. I am wondering whether there are people you could meet through your church/temple/etc. who would be better friends. I've found that often the people who volunteer are the ones who are the most sympathetic & kind. Maybe that would be an option for you to start looking for new, nicer people to surround you in your life.

Please take care of yourself & let us know how things are going. :)

frances is right, positive people will aid in your wellness and efficacy, toxic people well.....are toxic. volunteers are caring people. i have done my fare share over the years. i learn't and am still learning to be compassionate, and good people alike volunteers are compassionate, and make wonderful teachers to society. volunteering is good for the soul too!! highly recommend it!! jamie.
