Sunshine,
My doc switched my meds several times. Except when I would have a really severe reaction to them, he would leave me on them for 8 weeks before switching b/c he said that's how long it can take to get any real benefit from them. I've heard other people can start getting some relief after only a week or two, but it never happened that quickly for me. In any case, I will be hoping & praying that this round of treatment works for you & that you don't have to wait too long until the meds start to kick in.
take care,
Frances

hi sunshine, lovely name. by geeez have i done some switchin' over the years!! and very necessary as i would not have stabilised on the pristiq and seroquel. withdrawl from some anti-dep and anti-psych meds can be tough. also some meds are ineffective for us. trial and error though. keep in close contact with your doc. hoping you find the right treatment soon. with loving kindness. jamie. thx for sharing.
