Anyone experience this with cymbalta?

I have been taking 30 mg./day cymbalta for several months now. It seems to work pretty well with my IBS and other issues. However, during this time, I have been having strange sensations in my mouth like my teeth are hurting, sore mouth, tongue and throat.  I have also had sporadic spikes in my blood pressure with my heart pounding and generally higher BP. Anybody else had these problems? I swear the side effects of these medicines are just awful for me. The SSRI's make my colitis much worse.  eyes Any advice suggestions?

I don't take cymbalta myself, but there are others who do and have. So hopefully somebody else will come along with some advice for you. What kind of side effects go with cymbalta?

well, I finally figured out that it isn't the cymbalta with the burning sensation in my mouth. I have mouth ulcers. I think I had a flare last week. Luckily, I am feeling better today, finally.... Not sure about the BP. I took two days off work and my BP has been fine since I have been resting. I have also been having some issues with skin problems down there. I think they are fissures. Gonna make an apt with the GI nurse practitioner. I think I have crohn's. My test was positive for it. Thanks for the reply jamie and karen. Y'all take care too.

keep well. and regardless of what happens, stay positive. we are here for you. glad that you are feeling better. bp, could be postral drop. check with practioner. not familiar with the meds you are on, some meds do cause this. with loving compassion. jamie.
