Trying Seroquel

Has anyone had any good response to Seroquel??  I have tried several things to help depression and sleep.  Was on cymbalta and ambien cr but did not work, new doctor

wants me to stop ambien cr and abilify and try seroquel and cymbalta together.

Hi April,

I have never tried seroquel, though my sister takes it and seems to be doing good on it. I understand that you can lose weight on it. That is good. Maybe I should try that. But I do take abilify and am feeling very good on it. So I don't want to switch.

on it for sleep. big dose though. 1200-1800mg at night. just started cymbalta 60mg. morning. very qweezy. all the best.

One of the side effects is weight gain, so I guess I am going to have to start watching what
I eat. I hope I have good response to this new medication. Abilify did not do well with me, it gave me jitters and heart palpertaions. My doctor said it would help me sleep..........NO

I am on it for sleep too..............I will be trying it tonight. I usually take ambien cr.

very good 4 sleep. it is just that at times i am a severe insomniac. sleep walk and talk as well. (at times). no side effects for me. regards. jamie.

ok well I tried seroquel last night and it gave me heart palpertations so I have to call the doctor again.    I hate trying new meds because of side effects!!!!!
