After break up with boyfriend :(

I haven't talked to my ex-boyfriend since we broke up, and now I hear all this stuff he's saying back home and it's really hurting my feelings. I never saw him as a person who would act like such a jerk. I have earful for him, but on the other hand, I think if I see him I'll miss him all over again.

I wish that we could talk in person so I can figure out what exactly happened b/t us, because I have no idea, but I'm afraid old feelings will come back when I see him in person again. It's a tough call. What do you guys think I should do? Just leave it alone, or try and see if we can talk? I'd really like an answer...I'd like to know why he broke up with me.

It's really hard dealing with this. I hate being alone, and I miss him a lot. But I know that no matter what happens, I'll never be able to forgive him for what he put me through. It's upsetting, and I hate when girls talk about their boyfriends because it really bothers me.


I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get over this...

  1. for the hurt caused, well i would leave him be.
  2. i am not you, and i do not know him, thus.........
  3. i would follow my gut instincts on this.
  4. relations do start and end, and sometimes our lessons are apart of this..........so if he is worth it? especially for what you have already been through?
  5. some time out is something i would suggest.

i understand that no one here knows him, but he's always been such a nice guy. Funny, willing to do anything. I loved him. Apparently he really didn't care...just lied for months.

I just want to be able to know what it was I did wrong so that I don't mess up the next relationship, if there is one

just think: there are other guys... or as my mom has told me... "there are other fish im the sea." your better off avoiding him for a while.... and when your other friends talk about their b/fs, just let it blow over and try to change the topic... Time heals you up. just keep your chin up and try to loook at the happy things, like how your are free to do what you want, flirt with other guys, etc.

I get the feeling that you are not hearing what you want to.  I think that you do want to see him.  Think of it this way, if it is meant to be it will.  Something will happen and you will get the oppertunity to see him again.  If it is meant to be.  I wouldn't chase him.  Guys don't like that.  They want to do the chasing.  So I agree with the other, I would let it go.  And just see what happens. 

Why do you assume that you did something to cause the break up.  Maybe he just decided he didn't want to be in a relationship.  But didn't have it in him to say anything to you.  Obviosly he didn't tell you anything, if you don't even know the reason that you broke up.  I understand that you want answers, but if he is saying bad things about you, he isn't worth your time.  Find somebody better.  Somebody will come along.  This is just the beginning of relationships.

that is pretty much what i needed to hear from someone. thank you. it still hurts really bad, i dont think anyone understands. i miss him so much. but i guess i will just leave it be and if he approaches me, fine. if not, then thatll have to be fine, too.
