Big problem with meds

I was on Lexapro for 3 yrs and TCA's for 14 yrs before that.  I got off the Lexapro for the tension it's causing and I have Fibromyalgia so I really don't need med induced pain.  I can't get back on any meds.  I don't have panic attacks since being off them but my moods get pretty low without them.  Is it possible to develop an intolerance so quickly after being off them (2 months off)?  What the heck do I do now?  The day's seem to be getting a little bit harder everyday and the game I play to "put on a happy face" is wearing really thin.  So...what do I do now?  My shrink is asking "ME" what I want to take so that's not helping and he's the only one around (live in the country)

There are a couple of antidepressants that help with fibromyalgia. Cymbalta is one, and effexor and welbutrin. Though I found welbrutrin to be kind of speedy and after a while I couldn't sleep at night. I took effexor for years and just recently switched to pristiq. I am doing good on that along with abilify and xanax. I hope that you find what is right for you. I hope that you feel better soon.

just wanted to say hi. doing better on cymbalta, and it seems to help my feet a bit more than the others. (diabetic nueropathy). all the best, jamie
