Hi there,
Welcome to the HealingWell Depression Forum.... You are so welcomed here.
Have you talked to a counselor about any of this? It might be time for a visit. I don't like talking on the phone either, so there is nothing wrong with that. I am good at conversation is a social setting, or passing by, but not in a more personal setting, I just don't know what to say to people at times. You could be a little nervous.
I wouldn't worry too much, but I would definately talk to a professional and see if they can help you. Talking here helps to. You will find out that you aren't the only one feeling this way. It is kind of normal for depression, if you are depressed. This could just be a phase that you are going through and it will most likely change.
Drinking usually gives us confidence, but it is really a false confidence as it losens up our inhibitions. And it also causes us to be more depressed as it is a depressant. So be careful there.
Keep posting and let us know how you are doing.
Take care,
Hugs, Karen
