TOO MUCH!!!!!!!

Hi all. Jamie here.

Too much, bob came around yesterday, first
I took my mate to his dr.S appt, long drive
And wait, had 2 pick him up amd wake him first.
Next, bob comes round, had 2 mini strokes,
First, with his hand and speech 2 days ago and
Yesterday falling over a cupboard.
I could tell that he was still stroking,
Speech, slurring, focus, thus I forced him 2
Call his dr. I enforced his situation and got
Him an appt in town, had 15 mins to get there.
The stupid bugger has not been taking his
Meds since his last intermediate stroke.
His qwack sent him home and told him to
Reinstate his meds. The bugger during the
Wee hrs stroked badly. Irene and I checked his
Place, he was gone, his army buddies informed
Us as they were not in the area.

Irene called the hospital, still in emergency,
This was around tea time tonight, not good
Was the nurses response. I lost it today, got
Real angry with him-at home that is, and
Irene I are are feeling like we keep picking
Up the peices but he in fact dosen't give a toss.
I was that emotionally frustrated I had to
Lye down. I am drained, steve isn't the best
Either, I am not coping at all today.
Sorry for the vent, just need some support.

Hi Jamie,

Sorry for all your troubles. You hang in there, you are such a good person. You can't take care of everybody, so work on yourself first. Then if there is energy, help others. I am sorry for Bob. I guess the lack of his meds messed him up. He probably wasn't thinking clearly. But you have done the best you can. You help so many others. There will be a special place for you. I am sure the good Lord keeps an eye on these things. Take care mate.

Hey Jamiee,

I am sorry that Bob was not taking care of himself and now all this has happened. You are a devoted and caring person and have done the best you could. Please remember to be gentle with yourself and take a big breath. Things will get better so ride out the storm and know that I am here for you. Your vent was a good one.

Aw, Jamiee, what a bummer.
You can take a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
Very hard to see anyone self-destruct, let alone a friend.

Awe Jamie,

Thank goodness for your friend, that you hadn't given up on him. When someone has a serous of strokes, it effects thier brian, and thier emotions, and makes them someone you don't know anymore. I do not believe your friend is stuffing up on purpose, and probably is forgetting to take meds, and needs more homehelp than he had been getting.

I know it takes alot out of you, like an emotional rollarcoaster. Take care of you Jamie, when we are strong, we can give strength to others, xxxxx

Remember the poem you posted here awhile back?

It told me then the kind of person you are, and your post here just reaffirms my thoughts.

I haven't been around HW long enough to know the whole story of Bob, but it sounds like Bob has a very good friend in you, and it sounds like Bob doesn't realize that.

I know, if I had a friend like you, I'd feel like a very fortunate person indeed.

Hey,

We all will be okay someday, I think. What is normal anyway? I don't think that there is such a thing. I hope that you are feeling better today Jamie. I posted earlier and I think I forgot to submit. Take care my friend.
