I am so glad that I found this again. It is after ages I am writing back here. Sometime ago, I was looking for this site, but couldn't remember the name until I got the newsletter from HealingWell.com.

Two months ago, I had a major nervous breakdown, and was an out patient at the hospital for 4 weeks for Acute therapy.

I was given a new med called Tromiphamine. It took awhile for me to get used to it, and I was very depressed. But I am going for therapy as well.

I would like to hear from others too.

I've been away for awhile too. No breakdowns since my hospital stay in June ...well no major ones to speak of. ;) I'm on prozac, which took me a while to get on the right dose and to get use to it. I rarely forget but if I ever do, life this weekend left my pills at home, so 2 days without them, I get bouts of vertigo.

I'm in therapy too, which really helps. I also work on keeping my eyes on the SPIRES of self care. lol (I added the R for relax as I sometimes go at full steam til I collapse.) I use a calendar to make sure that I'm taking care of myself Spiritually, Physically, Intellectually, Relaxing, Emotionally and Socially. I've found that really helpful.

That is a good idea of using a calender to remind yourself of things that you need to do. It is so easy to forget, especially when you are struggling to make it through each and every day. I write a lot of lists. I am a lister I guess.

all the best sad and angry. i am feeling the same as your hw username!! me back in therapy too. 3 months now. working on other bits as well-it is what i call organised chaos!! keep well, glad the new meds are effective. keep posting. with compassion, jamie.

Thank you so much Jamiee, Karen and Sasta Anois. I appreciate your replies to my thread. Sasta, your idea of keeping a calendar is a good one. I think I will do that too. And to remind myself of keeping healthy spiritually, physically etc. I have this tendency to rush everything.

I lost my job when I had the nervous breakdown. And I was mad with it. But now I have let that anger go. But the financial difficulty too is working lot in my head. ~Magaret

Another thing I wanted to ask was, I have been told that Trimiphamine meakes one put on weight. Has anyone been on it? And has that affected their weight?
