Wellbutrin

Hey everyone (this post is a bit random)!

I just wanted to post this warning to Wellbutrin users, and I suppose that it could transfer to anyone using any type of antidepressant.. But... DO NOT miss a dose!!  I forgot to take my pills yesterday and wow, the side-effects aren't very pretty!  So if you forget to take a dose or are considering quitting antidepressants, make sure you contact your doctor!

Also, don't quit by just going off the meds... Reduce dosage FIRST, then wean yourself off.

Yes, this is kind of common sense, but I thought I would just post this reminder!

Oh, I know it isn't pretty. It takes more than one dose for me. Usually 2-3 for me to notice anything. When they found out I was pregnant with my now 7 year old, I was on both zoloft and wellbutrin and they took me off of them cold turkey. Try mixing pregnancy hormones and mega withdrawl from two medications! Eek!

And karen. ditto with the effexor. They changed me from that to another without weaning me off of it. It was awful. Effexor made me a zombie. I went from nothing making me cry to EVERYTHING making me cry.
