SEEN MY DR. TODAY. WENT WELL. HE SAID

THAT LAST TIME, WHEN I WAS OFF MY HEAD THAT I WAS IN

FACT QUITE IN CONTROL. MY ACHES AND PAINS AND

CHRONIC FATIQUE MAYBE COMING DUE TO LOWERED

LITHIUM LEVELS IN MY BLOOD. HE ALSO APPRECIATED MY

LETTER, RE, RELATIONSHIP LOSS, AN ANNIVERSARY AND

THE PANIC ATTACKS about DYING IN MY SLEEP. HE HAS

REFERED ME BACK TO THE PUBLIC SHRINK, ALSO I WILL

DO BLOODS, FIRST LITHIUM, (SALT) THEN MAGNESIUM A

FEW DAYS LATER, WANTS TO TRY ME ON MAGMIN. HE IS

WORRIED about MY ERRATIC behaviourS AND HAS ASKED FOR INFO FROM THE SHRINK. WILL DELIVER LETTER 2MORROW.

VERY SORE AND WEAK AT THE MOMENT, DEFINITE

EMOTIONAL LABILITY GOING ON. OH WELL. THX 4

IF BLOODS ON SERIUM LITHUIM AND SERIUM MAGNESIUM

ARE INCONCLUSIVE THEN JOHN WILL LOOK AT FIBRO.

Hey Jamie,

Thanks for the post to let us know what is going on. I hope that you get your dx soon. It is hard waiting. And if it is fibro, they have to rule out everything else so it takes time. Unless they do a tenderpoint check. Then you will know something sooner. I am sure that you have read about the tenderpoints. I had some on my back and when the doctor pressed on them, I about come off of the table. That is how I finally got a dx.

Glad to hear your appointment went well and that tests are being done.

I hope it is not fibro but if it is you have Karen to guide you as she knows this disorder well and lives with it daily.

printed of info on the 18 point tender-point test. if the magnesuim and serum lithium are fine i will ask for the test. will do bloods tomorrow. lithium first, 2-3 days, magnesium, so dr. can see if one is inhibiting the other, inparticular the lithium. if magnesium is low he wants to start me on magmin. meant to be good here in australia. thx 4 caring, jamie.

BLOODS 2 MORROW. TOO TIRED TODAY. DID A LOT OF P/WORK AND SOME STUDY. BEEN REFERED BACK TO THE DIABETES SPECIALIST; GOOD. MY SUGARS AND DIABETES RELATED STUFF NOT THE BEST, INPARTICULAR DIABETIC SORES. NEED REFERAL.PLAM FROM DR., THUS I WILL MAKE IT AFTER THAT, AROUND 2WEEKS. HAVE CLEANED THE HOUSE, HELPED THE NEIGHBOUR AND HAVE STRAIGHTENED UP THE JOINT. WILL DROP OF PSYCH REFERAL, I UPDATED MY LETTER AS WELL. BUSY BEE HUH!!!! THX, JAMIE

Jamie: I'm glad that you're keeping such good tabs with your doctor(s) and that they are being so methodical in looking at all your medical issues. And I'm also glad to hear that you are still keeping busy. You have a lot of strength my friend. Keep plugging along!

been a long day, posted on hw, caught up with some friends on line, cleaned like crazy, walked the dog twice, visited the neighbour, washed and dried clothes, seen the lady last night, couldn't talk because of not so nice carer. very abrupt actually!!! otherwise ok. i feel she wants more, and realises this, but not sure yet. she wants another ring for valentines day, and has advised me that it is not that far away. i am taking things real slow. i need confirmation on things b4 i go down that road again. next week we have a nice carer on, thus i can speak with her then. had to take a sedative, haven't stopped, although i feel like a zombie now. had bad diarroeah and headaches, have passed-yes to that.

 

will do bloods mon. slept in today. finding it hard to study.........just can't focus at the moment. hopefully i get a buzz on monday from the course admin about the diploma course. oh well i'd rather be busy than sitting around and scratching my butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ha ha!!! :-) just drained by the end of the day. erratic sleep still, gone up to 900mg on the seroquel, will see if the shrink can offer me something better-in terms of quality sleep. yes i am clearly manic, maybe the lithium will be adjusted, will ask for the abilify to go up as well. 10mg is useless, was better on 15. awaiting for a letter for an appt. could take a few weeks. thx 4 listening.
