I'm tired of living like i have a disease or I'm from outer space. I don't know where to go. Today really hit my button. I'm tired of being treated like this. Well to start I'm 25 years old. I have been a homosexual since i was 19 yrs old. I have only been in two long terms relationships. Both relationships their parents haven't accepted me, or our relationship. I have been pushed to the side, and pretty much pretending I'm not here. I have never be invited to dinner with them, or even a simple evening out. I'm just tired. What happened tonight really proved that being myself really feels like I'm doing something wrong. I feel that if I was guy things would be that much easier. I like who I em, I don't know why I should feel this way, but I do. I'm just tired.

They have a website & a 24/7 free hotline for LGBTQ youth. It's supposed to be for youth age 24 & younger, but I'm sure if you contacted them they could either help you or direct you to an organization that works with adults.

its wrong that in this day and age there is still such ignorant stigmas attatched to peoples sexuality, i kno how much damage it did to me deniying my homosexuality when i was younger because of people around me. its wrong that these people cant accept something so pure and beutiful but sadly its a fact of life that people fear what they dont understand and try to pretend its just a phase or something. i even have a friend who's parents sent him to a psychiatrist to try and "cure" him when he came out. its unfortunate but just like wanting to be accepted for who you are you also have to accept that other people have thier prejudices, no matter how unfounded or stupid. one day they might come around but if not then its their loss

How old were these people that you had relationships with? If their parents were involved, they were probably young and that is what got in the way. As you get older, you will get people your age that you want to have a relationship with. I could be wrong, but when you said something about the parents, I am assuming that they were young adults. Maybe under 21???

You will find somebody that you can have a relationship with no outside interference. The time will come. Focus on yourself now and work on healing. Before you know it, you will meet somebody that you are interested in.

Take care of you and the rest will work out.
