I posted to this site hoping someone would give me a hint at trying to cope with my life. People have read but noone has really helped i am invisable and don't matter - life goes on.
I have been taking baby steps for so long with no light in sight.

I am sorry, but the forum has been a little bit slow lately. It kind of goes in spurts.
We don't have all of the answers. I always advise to see a psychiatrist or psychologist to get on medications. And counseling. It really gives you direction with your life. We can't fix you here, but we can give the best advice that we know from personal experiences. It takes time. You have to learn to like yourself enough to find a way to move forward. There is a book called Feeling Good. It is written by Dr. David Burns. I highly recommend you reading it.
I have noticed that you have started a few threads. I see that the members have been replying the best that they can. Like I say, there might not be a lot of members on at this time. Give it some time, keep checking back and I am sure others will reply.
Exercise and diet help too. Avoid caffiene and sugars if possible. Also try to walk as much as you can. Doing other exercises helps too. There are many ways of feeling better. But it takes practice and devotion on your part.
I am sure others will share what has worked for them. Know that there are many in your situation, or close, with depression, so not everybody has advice.
I hope that you feel better soon.
Hugs, Karen
