Celexa withdrawal duration?

I went on Celexa in the Spring of 09. I was on a very low dose 10mg a day which is less than the minimum they recommend.

Slightly short of 2 years on it I tapered off taking my last dose over 2 months ago. I remember reading that the withdrawal symptoms can last a long time . . . I have been having lots of anxiety lately. Wondering if it could still be my brain getting re-adjusted. Any ideas?

Also, is there any anti-dperessant that is good for short term (month or two) that has less withdrawal?

Maybe you need something for anxiety. Like xanax or ativan. They can be taken as needed and don't have to be taken all of the time. Talk to your doctor about it. I see you have been off your other med for about 2 months. It is hard to say if it is withdrawal symptoms of plain old anxiety. A talk with your doctor would be wise. Was going off Celexa hard? Did you have bad withdrawal symptoms? Just curious.
