feeling weird when skip lexapro one day

Hi, i have been suffering from anxiety and depression since 2000.  I feel depression worst in the morning.  i am taking 10 mg lexapro and 100mg of wellbutrin in the morning and xanax when needed.  i have notice that when i skip a dose of lexapro i takei again i feel worst, and weird like sleepy, no energy and some depression.  do you have the same experince??? thanks :)

When I missed a dose of Lexapro I got brain zaps...even if I was a few hours late on taking the pill in the morning.  It has a very short half life and if you are not consistant with it, withdrawal symptoms begin.  That could be what's going on with you.

been on lex for almost a year now, 20mg, i have missed a few days but i don't think i have had any experiences like yours but the above explination seems right,

thanks donna for your response, but the sensation is weird its like feeling so down that i can help to feel depressed and i also get really thirsty ??? (just for missing one dose i feel this way, its crzy :(..

thanks geosojda, lucky you...i try not to pay attention to the side effects but still bothers (i am taking lexapro for more than a year and wellbutrin since this january)...hope i can get better one day :)...i keep trying with my heart

Why are you skipping doses? Or did you just forget? You may want to get a weekly pill box so you don't forget to take your meds.
