i am going to the doc again tomorrow, and having the same thoughts, but progressively worse. bigger problem: he pulled my records from my visit to the hospital when I was 16! I am most likely going to have to talk about some things that I would rather not. :(

Maybe it is goood to talk about these things to make sure that they are in the past. I hope that everything goes well for you.

It is good you are going to see your dr. Can you write down a list of questions you want to ask so that you are sure to cover all your concerns? I don't know your situation but I have a son who has epilepsy and I would be glad to discuss anything you would like to know from his experience. He has had epilepsy for 18 years but he didn't have his first gran mal seizure until he was 19. He probably had it since birth but they were most likely absence seizures so no one noticed. He has not had a seizure in 6 years due to good control with three meds. Would be glad to talk with you.

Tristan: It sounds like this Dr. is really listening to you and taking you seriously. Remember you felt that your therapist wasn't helping or understanding? I know I would feel scared too, but it is probably a good idea to still go and hear what he has to say. It would be great if he could figure out some meds that could help you to start to feel better and then it might be easier for you to talk.

I think Aurora had a great idea. If there is anything you are afraid of or have questions regarding, bringing a list would be beneficial; so you don't forget.
