Hi Jamie:  As I'm writing this I'm sure you are already at the sleep study.  I'm saying lots of prayers for you.  You are definitely more than due for a break.

hi guys. well you certainly get very wired up. all your head is done and the wires are taped. you carry around your pony as it is known as around with you before bed. once you hit bed bed more sufff. 2 sensors one around your waist and abdoman. heart monitor, pulse montor on your finger all night. let me tell you this stings after a while. and a wire breathing sensor under your nose and a sensor on each leg. geez.............. you have to buzz if you need the loo as you are hooked in to the plugs in the back of the bed, and monitors on the desk. i had 2 buzz twice. i had enough room to pee just!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. then the technician makes sure the wires are ok whilst you lay back in bed. strangely i got 4 hrs sleep. and it was good, bar the chaotic dreams. some leg movements and apparently i awoke but went back. possible bad dream. there were 2 other people doing the study. 1 for cpap and trish was for something diferent completely. i did not ask. still tired. just walked the dog. thx for caring, jamie

Sure feels good to sleep in your own bed again, huh? I hope results can lead to some help...let us know. I wear a cpap and take klonopin for severe PLMD. The mask can take a long time to get used to, but people tell me it's worth it

had a real scary night last night. got a pebble or something or another in my eye. was painful and causing much grief. my eye had almost closed, was using eye drops like crazy and irrigating with water as well. as this was going on and it was getting late, too late for the dr's surgery i forgot to eat. finally i check my sugars and get a reading that is a code. this was lo. was surgars were too low, below 1 for a reading to be made. no wonder i was nearly blind in both!!!!!!!!!! nearly called an ambulance. found the fridge, sculled a mega sweet drink i keep 4 emergencies and got into some chocolates. came good after 20 mins. my eye had to be irrigated all night and all day today. the blurred vision out of the eye with the whatever in it freaked me, being a diabetic already does as i have minimal retinapathy in both!!! so i am tired. missed school, oh well school holies start today.

I am sorry that you had such a rough night. I hope that your eye gets better and that you can enjoy the holiday from school.

I hope you got whatever was in your eye out. That is so frustrating. My eyes are sensitive and the smallest thing can bother them. But it sounds like you had a pebble or something. Of course it always feels much large than it is. Like the bone fragments I got out of my mouth when I got those teeth pulled. They seemed so big, and I could barely see them when they came out. lol...
