any info on lexapro???

Hi everyone, I need some info on Lexapro, anyone on it? I am afraid to gain weight, my Dr. said I would not buttt.... I would like some feedback from others who have tryed it Thanks, Dreamy

hi dreamgirl, i got the electric tingling in my head, apparently a common side / effect. it was way too strong for me, hence i changed rather quick. cheers, jamie. ps others will post with more info soon.

I gained weight on Lexapro but I was told by my doctor that most SSRI's cause weight gain....at least he was honest. I only stayed on it for a year then weaned off (OUCH!) as I was not thrilled with the amount of weight I had gained. I woke up every night at 2 AM and ate whatever sweets I could get my hands on.

That's just my experience...my son was on it and had no problems.
