I feel very abandoned and scared. I am 68 and out of a job. I feel alone and useless.

Hi Phinney,
I put your post here so it would get noticed. You tagged onto another person's thread, and your post may get over looked.
I am so sorry for the situation that you are in. Being without a job is the pits, you may have to ask for help from social services, but that is what they are there for. Don't feel usesless, or try not to. This happens to all of us. At one time or another. Keep your chin up. Something will come around.
What type of job did you have, how long were you there? You can probably draw unemployment or apply for social security if you aren't already on it. There are options for you. Maybe we can help you find them. I am sure that others will come up with some ideas. Hang in there.
Hugs, Karen

Welcome Phinney, came to your post to offer my support. Sorry to hear about
your job. I know many people that have lost their jobs. Each of them immediately applied for unemployment to help them until they were able to find a new job. This is a good place to be. People that take the time to support others when they are in need of support themselves. We hold each other up. Keep sharing.
