Quick little background...I was starting Welbutrin. When I past the inital low dosage to ease into my blood stream (150mg), I went up to 300mg...the stuff really started to work, however, after I think it was 2 1/2 weeks in, I started getting really bad, I guess maniac attacks, not sure what its called - it was as if I done way too much cocaine or speed was the best way to describe it. My Dr. gave me some Xanax, told me stop and go back to the 150 mg of Welbutrin (which has no side affects) and Celexa (20mg). After two weeks of this, really nothing - I just get content being lazy, which is not good, especially in my line of work. So the Dr. told me to take 1 1/2 and of Celexa (30mg) and gave me a trial of Nuvigil, which I was a little skeptical about
. 1/2 the kids in my office are on Adderoll and they're all compelely insane (not really, you know what I mean).
I started my day, got my cup of coffee...still wasn't feeling motivated, so around quarter to nine I took the Nuvigil. I think I probably should've taken 1/2, that may have been my mistake. I'm feeling a little weird, a little over anxious, but nothing like the the Welbutrin episode I had. My hands feeling a little clammy and I'm quite uncomfortable. I realize now the cup of coffee was probably not a good idea as well. My back is kind of tense too.
I'm hoping this will subside itself, while alert, I'm having some problems functioning...I'm drinking a lot of water.
Any advice or counsel would be appreciated. Also, I've been reading that this may also heighten depression? I hope that is not the case.
I have a xanax if I really need it, but if this will ease itself away, I rather avoid that for now.
Thanks
J.
