I feel like a little girl right now. I feel like stomping my feet and screaming. I don't wanna go to work!!!! Grumble grumble. Necessary evil. Please lend me words of encouragement, friends. Maybe this will keep me from yelling at the most ridiculous of patients. How dare I ask you to wait 15 minutes? Surely you're so much more important than everyone else who've brought their prescriptions in before you.

On a positive note, this job has taught me patience. We only have 2 arms, 2 hands, 2 legs and 2 feet. We can only do so much. I don't expect from others what I can't expect from myself. We are not superhuman and we cannot make things go faster, though we may want them to.

Thanks for the venue to whine. I think I'm done. For now :)

Having spent over half of my working life in some kind of retail or service oriented field I can certainly empathize with dealing with the irate moron...err I mean customer.

One thing I learned early on is that the more they complain the less they actually have to complain about. Understanding this made dealing with them a lot easier. Instead of becoming upset myself it allowed me to pity them because they obviously have a sad life.

Inhale 1 2 3 exhale 1 2 3 ...worked w/ public for 35 years and their rudeness 9and random kindness) never fail to blow me away.

I have also deal with the public and I know there are some very trying people out there. Like Maggie said there are alot of rude but also there is kind people. I know some days they seem far and few...they are there none the less.
