Hi Guys.  I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season thus far.  I have read many posts tonight and actually want to reply but I don't have the energy to do it.  Since I stopped taking the Seroquel (due to cost) and have not seen my therapist in a few months (again due to cost) I'm really struggling.  Half of me feels so negatively with not the greatest thoughts.  I'm struggling and I really don't feel good.  But then I have a few good moments.  My moods have been up and down and it is hard to deal with.  I just want to sit and cry tonight.  ..I have no new issues. I know exactly why I feel this way.  I know what I need to do to take positive steps out of where I am at the moment but I feel cemented to the ground if that makes any sense.

These feelings are just starting to scare me again.  I guess I'm just searching for a way to feel some peace.  For those of you who also feel these "unspeakable" feelings how and what do you do to deal with them?  It is getting harder.

I'm so sorry things are not going good for you right now, maybe try to get a call into your therapists.
Do a google search on Seroquel and go to the manufacturer's site and see if you qualify for help
in paying for your prescriptions...maybe they have some way of help or assistance's, and then call
your therapists and see if maybe you could get some samples, as it was helping and you had to
stop taking it due to the costs. Or maybe your therapists can prescribe a less costly medicine for you.

Before I had insurance or medicare, I got my seroquel free from Astra Zeneca. Please check that out.

Check on lowcost mental health clinics in yr area..I went for 2 years to see psych and counselor and never paid a dime.

It is critical that you get back on meds and therapy-of course, you know that.

I am praying for you because I have been in that place many many times. Call a hotline and talk or come here until you can get some face to face help..we are here for you.

Another thing is http://www.needymeds.com   They can often help you if your income is low enough.  I hope that this helps you.  Check into therapy with a sliding scale.  They will charge you by your income.  I hate to see this go unattended.  You will just get worse.  You need to be proactive and check into these options and get some help that you deserve.  I truly hope that you feel better hon.  You are a good person, always remember that.

You're a teacher, Cass.

Given any thought to perhaps having a new, young teacher who's looking for an apartment come in and share with you and your girls? It's one option, and could be a workable situation if the person is nice and you know her.

I've been thinking about options--that's the one I've hit thus far.  It's just a tough situation to be in, that's for sure, but there has to be a way out.  I hope everyone will use his/her imagination to help with this for you.

You could try tutoring for children who might be slow in one subject or another that you've had training in teaching.
