At the end of Chapter 3 there was lots of talk about DONUTS. (I sound like Homer Simpson)... thanks a bunch, gang. Well, I want you to know I didn't eat a single one of 'em today!!!

My total calorie count was only...&$#% for the day! (I didn't tell you, 'cause I didn't want to brag...heheheh
You know I'm going to be raiding the fridge in the middle of the night.

I was waiting for the new thread to start because I didn't want to get "lost".

The wedding was great this past weekend. Been walking, went to yoga Tuesday. I don't think I like the guy I told ya'll about from the dating site.... he asks inappropriate questions and is pushy. I did meet a friend's roommate and I think we really hit it off. I told him straight up that I dated a girl for two years and it didn't phase him. So, at least I have found some acceptance. We will see if anything happens... I have been content spending time alone.

Been going back to the weird dreams lately though. Not as horrific as before, now they are just weird... Like ex being present in places/events of my very young childhood. One day, I'll meet a dream interpreter :)

Pottery class tonight & then dinner with a friend who has also struggled with depression for about two years now. She's having a rough day and I know it will make her feel better to have plans and get out of the house.

I hate the word money right now. I need to spend it and save it and earn it and yuck yuck yuck... just found out I'm in a wedding in three months. That WASN'T on my financial plan.

Hopefully I get a tax return quickly.

Good morning.
Another week has gone by.
My pre-checkup diet is going well. Got lots of fruits yesterday (strawberries, clementines, and cantaloupe). Munching on those has helped.

After cutting and wedging (and eating) the cantaloupe I remembered there had been an e-coli alert...and the skin should be scrubbed before cutting with a knife. Ugh, I didn't do that. Hope the disease has been erased... or maybe I will be!

Perhaps I should just go back to DONUTS!

Ladies, all this donut talk when I am on a diet!!! I have lost two pounds, but I think it's probably water weight.

I like the chocolate covered ones. Do ya'll like kolatches? I'm not sure if I spelled that right, but they are soooooo good!

Very rainy here today. Richard stopped by this morning before I left for work. I met him through a friend and he is very kind. He doesn't give me too much attention which is good for me. I sitll need to take care of myself and if someone were to pay too much attention too soon, I may fall into bad habits.

I have to find a formal gown this weekend for the Mardi Gras ball next weekend. I'm bartending Saturday and will most likely go to a Superbowl party on Sunday although I don't care about the game.

Whenever you have a chance, go to www.thecolorrun.com. Richard and me are going to run in Dallas on the 18th.... I whole weekend date. I'm sure ill be nervous when it gets closer, but I'm so excited about the race!

Good Morning...it's Sunday, and nobody 'chatted' yesterday. Probably not much today, either...with the super bowl and all.

I noticed in the supermarket yesterday, every shopping basket seemed full of party preparation.

My son will be coming to share dinner and the TV with us later today. In the mean time I'm making a banana cream pie. We're also having Chili, which John will cook.

oops... John just woke up (he sleeps later than I do). CUL

Well, in 45 minutes I leave for a blood test. Have to fast...that means no coffee! (except a sip or two of black only). Not a fun way to start my morning.

Will not be posting again 'till later this afternoon.

I usually don't get on during the weekend because I sit in front of huge computers all day during the week for work. I like my break.

Don't think I'm doing too great with the diet. Grandma J, hope your blood test goes well.

Anyone have ideas for dieting?? If I eat bread, it's always whole wheat. Same with pasta.

Need to paint my nails. So sleepy at work. Early bed tonight!
