How to stop Cymbalta

Talk to your doctor about this and work with your doctor to come up with a safe schedule that decreases the dose over time.

Depending on your current dose as well as how long you have been taking Cymbalta it can take a couple of month to safely ween off of it.

Cymbalta is not a medication you want to stop cold turkey or too soon. Abrupt stoppage can really mess with your system and can be dangerous.

i did so slowly under the approval of my doctor. best to do a slow safe wean from cymbalta, nasty side effects. with compassion, jamie

I agree with the above posts, you need doctor's help to do this. It is a hard drug to come off of. Best wishes, sorry it isn't working for you hon.
