Just found website for support. I was recently turned down for EMDR, for now, due to complex PTSD and MDD. I like this site and will be coming back often for information and inspiration to stay clear of the nasty SH and SI monsters.

hi bna, I have bipolar but also read/post here from time to time because I have mostly depression type bipolar. I also have complex ptsd. I was going to go for emdr but in talking to the therapist, she had a lot of problems and I thought this was impacting on her work so I made the executive decision not to go down that track with her. She may be fine now the crisis of natural disaster has processed itself in her life. It's a very brief first post. Feel free to relax into the support community here.
