My abilify and pristiq did make me a little nauseus for a couple of days. But that went away.

Good Thursday morning.... Having a consultation appointment with oral surgeon this morning.  No "pain"... just ca$h at this time. We have a new furry feral cat at work.  We call her "Blondie".  She's very vocal and affectionate.   Unfortunately, also a 'hunter'.  Yesterday morning I was also greeted by two dead mice and bunny. Morning to all

record highs again-need rain...feel so bad for the folks in Colorado fires.

Katie is doing really well, her bf is loving and patient, exactly what she needs.

I am waiting to get appt w/ neurosurgeon for nerves pinched in my neck. Left hand is still numb and is beginning to weaken.

So it goes!

Got it I think. the m and n are mixed up. Found the n in the m's. The first is the lower case L... I think...

Good morning everyone

Slept in til 6:30 and took KK to her counselor-they had a great session. I see my first therapist in a year in August-yah!!

Feeling a tad better today. As you always say, Karen, one day at a time!! I'll enjoy it while I got it.

Hey Mags,

Thanks for posting. August is a little ways off. Get yourself put on the list for cancellations. Maybe you could get in sooner. Though it is almost July now. Yep, one day at a time, that is all I can do.

Took Jasmine to the groomers for a bath and nail trim this morning. She is all pretty now, shiney and soft. She was mad at me for it though...

Yep, Friday the 13th... I don't have bad luck on that day though. I guess because I am not superstiscous.

Hello my Friends,

some on here know what the last few months have been like for me and I just need to vent today. I just finished moving to a new city for work and my kids (so they can stay with me and attend school) but earlier than I expected due to a disastrous break-up. It took me the last 2 weeks to completely move and I'm just burnt. I made my last car-load move on Friday after work. I've been on 12 hr shifts for four days now and have just been hit by a mad crying jag. I had to go outside for a walk - I'm at work right now.

I'm just feeling so very alone - not lonely, alone. I'm sharing a house with a couple of college kids (I'm 52) and know nobody here. I can't even call anyone. Too much BS in my life right now. I miss my kids so bloody much. And my sister. darn..here i go again

Hi Brian,

These can be some trying times. It sounds like you have a plate full right now. Try to relax and take life as it comes. You are in a new situation and you have to get use to it, so go easy on yourself. I am sorry about your situation. But things are going to get better. You are close to work and your children. That is a blessing in itself. Take life one day at a time right now. Try not to worry about things like what the future holds. It will be here soon enough. Time flies as we get older, I am sure you have noticed in the last few years.

Get to know the kids that you are living with. You might make some great friendships. And then again, you might not, but it will be nice to know the people you are living with.

Take the BS and drama out of your life. It just isn't worth it. You are getting to the age that you will see how much it gets in the way of living. Some of it, we can't control, but we can control how we react to it and how it effects us. Don't let it get you down.

Keep posting. I hope that your day gets better.

Thanks Karen,

just to have someone reinforce what I need helps so much. I am trying to go easy. Just seem to be having moments today - I'm sure it's largely due to being over-tired...kinda spent. I did get tomorrow off work and have already decided to just sit in the sun. No work of any kind. I'll take what the doc gives me and get a good sleep and have a good day tomorrow.

Now I just gotta make it through the next 5 hours...

Remember that moving takes a lot out of us. It isn't easy, and we always lose something. lol... I do anyway...

I am glad that you feel comfortable enough to post about things here. It is kind of slow on the weekends, so bear with us.... You will be seeing more posts during the week.

I hope that things settle down for you and that you can relax. I think taking tomorrow off is a good idea.

We got a little rain and it cooled down some, butnot a lot.

Steps, stairs, who knows??? I know that they are called different, what is the difference between a stairway and a stairwell? I have no clue...
