Yes, Saturday Scrambles coming up. I could do it on Sundays if that's the better day. Let me know.

Jasmine is so much better. I thank God. I did a lot of praying... The scrambles can be on any day that you want. Being that the weekends are kind of slow though, I think Saturday is better than Sunday. I think the game would get more action on Saturday. But whichever is convenient for you...

I am so glad that my dog is better. I am thinking of calling the groomer today as she will be there. I don't know, but I don't think she should give flea baths without asking owners first. As I feel it was toxic. Jasmine was awful sick. And my friend read on the internet where it has killed small dogs. So that is very scarey.

I know Jasmine didn't have fleas because of the medication that I give her for hearworm. The vet says it kills fleas within four minutes. Which in itself is scarey. But my husband catches rain water and I worry about mosquitoes which cause heartworm. And they didn't have the sentinal that I usually get, I had to get trifexis, which was very expensive itself.

Good news, I'm relieved Jasmine is improving Karen.

After your post about the situation I did google the flea bath meds and also saw how it could hurt an animal. Yes, call the groomer and share your concerns.

My cats get a topical flea treatment... but one baby has had a very severe reaction to a particular brand...so I had to change to one that is less effective. Each animal has it's own strengths and weaknesses.

Scrambles will be on Saturday. Be forewarned... it may be a toughie. Two words each...scrambled together.

Awe so sorry your animal friends are going thru all that. I usually bathe my boy toys (4 kittys) every other month
and then put a topical on their necks and that helps with fleas...Hope your animals are doing better...

That means so much to me. I didn't call the groomer today. I hope to Monday. I just wonder if it is worth it. But I know I should, I am just not good at it. Dealing with people that is. Face to face, when I am angry... But she is there on Mondays and Fridays, so I can call her on Monday.

I got another one of the scrambles. I couldn't resist. But I am going to let somebody else guess for awhile. I don't want to hog the puzzle.

Yea, I got up early. But may lay back down for awhile. I took a shower and now I am more relaxed and can probably sleep.

Good morning everyone!

I just want to say thank you for your kindness. I was in a very bad place when I stumbled upon this forum. Reading about others situations made me feel not so alone in this big world. I look forward to logging on daily and seeing how everyone is. You gave me a place where it is ok to be me no matter what type of day I am having- good, bad or just blah.

I am currently trying to figure out why weekends are so hard for me. I spoke to my counselor about it. During the week, I seem ok but the weekends come and I just feel bad- depressed, not wanting to shower and face the day. I am an only child and did grow up lonely because we moved so much. My kids are busy on the weekends (they are teens) and my husband works 12 hours on Saturdays. So I am alone. I am not sure if it is the fact that I am so busy during the week and on the weekends my body needs its rest. I have had 4 back surgeries and I am only 41.. Doctors say I have the back of an 80 year old. So by the weekend, I am sore from the activities of the week. I also have hypothyroidism but it is controlled by medication. Recently I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and am taking Victoza shots for that. Could it just be body and mind exhaustion at the end of the week?

Good morning Joyce. I heard about the ostirch's eye somewhere just yesterday, but I can't remember where I saw it. That is such a coincidence. Thanks for the smilers. I enjoy them each day.

I hope that your weather is nice and that you are feeling well. It is suppose to be warmer here today but I think it is still going to rain. It has been raining for days and I am getting sick of it. Change of the seasons I guess.

Love you all so much and I'm still around, just crazy busy!

All of you are always in my thoughts and prayers daily. Sometimes it's hard for me to respond as I am not only busy, but learning the aspects of counseling and wish to still be a part of the forum. Although I am not a professional at this time, I will be soon and I don't want to jeopardize my involvement in the future.

I promise I'm still around (to old and new members)! Without this forum and the relationships I gained, I would not be the woman I am today.

At first, I had trouble on the weekends as well. Isn't it crazy how the weekends are supposed to be relaxing, yet they can cause the most anxiety?? I think it was the break in schedule... I had forced myself to stick to making sure I got to work Monday-Friday, but when Friday at 5pm hit... what was I to do?

I found some fiction books I enjoyed and that seemed to help some. Kinda brought me to a magical world that I could get lost in so that my brain didn't obsess over the sad things. Little by little, I was able to start doing more. When I say "little"... I mean verrrrrrryyyy little. I have been a part of this forum for a year now and I have just become the girl I was when I was 18. It's taken a while and I have been mentally exhausted at times, but you will find what comforts you and brings you peace.

I would love if any of you would like to contact me via e-mail. With restrictions at work, it is easier for me to access my mail rather than the forum.
