Hi guys! I have been on priadel (lithium) for some time now, and i find my interest in getting into a new relationship and libido in general to be quiet poor... have any of ye had similar experiences?

Hi Fergie,

I am sorry about your loss of libido. It could be the medication doing something. I think it would be good to talk to your doctor and express your concerns. Maybe there is something that you can do to make it better. I don't know if a change of medication would be possible or not. I hope that you get things figured out. Hi Fergie,

welcome to the forum.

alot of medications have this side effect. Personally I have not been on that med.

I use Yoga and walking to increase my sex drive and I talked to my husband about it. Which helped.

open communication with your partner is important.

If you have not interest in your partner as a relationship goes, talk to your doctor, however, maybe you are growing also. Give it some time. Emotions are tricky in depression.
