Will be busy in the morning, so thought I'd just stop by now to say 'Hi.'

Magpie...what a thrill and honor that your daughter received. You must be so very proud!!!

Husband had prep work done at the hospital for his upcoming 'treatments'. They won't begin 'till February for some reason. 45 in all. Five days a week for over two months.
Oh well, we'll make it through (if it doesn't snow too much). Just hope it helps his condition.

Hi all-

Thanks UA and everyone. I am cuddled down in bed with a bad sinus infection. Went to school today even though I had no voice- boy was that fun! :) Glad it is a long weekend for me so I can recover. However, I wish I were well to enjoy it.

Joyce, I plan on getting up early for the word scrambles- I've missed them the last two weeks. :(

Chartreux, I love cross stitching too. What are you working on? You have inspired me- I might pull mine out tomorrow. I am in the middle of a Christmas stocking for my husband. Yes, I know it is after Christmas but what the heck- maybe it will be finished for next Christmas.

I truly hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!!!

It was my 'muddy' post that confused you, Karen.
Meant to say that I'd be busy with scrambles in the morning..so wouldn't have time to just chat.

Michele, its the Jim Shore 12 days of Christmas requires a yard of fabric, each square is outlined 100 stitches by 100 stitches and so far I have 2 squares done and over 800 stitches stitched, I' m using linen fabric 30 count and silk threads, outlining with Bella Soie its so nice to work with and this design uses lots of mill hill beads and of course Jim Shore buttons, I' ve done some switched out threads and choose a purple piece of linen fabric and my first time I' m not using any type of hoops or frames...
Would be neat if we had a forum for pictures of our hobbies on here.

It's really getting to me, and am beginning to feel I shouldn't use Healing Well anymore. Norton does take care of it, but it's become more than annoyance.

Would not like to leave my new friends...but not sure I can continue with this daily setback.
