My wife has been spiraling down for the last two years and I am at a loss of what to do. She saw someone for a bit, but then it conflicted with her work schedule and she has not gone back. To be fair its hard to find a therapist thats english speaking and in the public health insurance where we live. But she also has said she does not want to call anyone, she feels like everything is pointless, and despite pleas from me, and offers to help she refuses to get help... When someone simply refuses help, what can I do?
Im upset to feel so powerless, and its hard sometimes to be around her darkness.
When I had a bad period before I sought help because it was so awful, but she seems overwhelmed by it. She has even mentioned she would welcome dying... I dont think its an expression of intent, but I still worry. If the person will not talk about
it. What can one do? I tried talking to her family about
it but that also did little to help.
