Does Lamictal help depression and anxiety?

Hi I am new to this and could use help. Just began Lamictal does it help depression and anxiety? I take 25 mgs every other day of Lamictal and being weaned off of Zoloft this week.I would like to hear from other people. I also take Xanax .25 mgs 4 times a day. Thanks

For the most complete answer to your question, a call to your doctors office or a visit to the pharamacy is your best bet. Speaking with a professional about your medicines work with each other and effect you is always important. Remember, everyone is different so keeping the lines of communication open with your doctor is important.

my psychiatrist says it helps with depression and bi-polar. for me it does. alike trina has mentioned, and i agree with keep talking with your doctor as we are all different. i find it extremely helpful. keep having your levels checked as it is a very slow and steady medication.
