Cymbalta Withdrawals

So, just saw my doctor and we think I am on serotonin overload so we are getting rid of the Cymbalta. I currently take 120 mg once a day. We are reducing it to 60 mg for one week and then none the next week.

Can someone share what type of withdrawals they experienced when getting off of Cymbalta?

I was on Cymbalta for probably close to a year , kept upping the dose and then finally evened out at dose,which worked for a while then i started getting hot flashes and all sorts of side effects, the doctor lowered my dose and eventually i was taken off of it, and had no side effects coming off of it, so good luck! Hopefully it goes well, i have not heard from anyone i know of that it was difficult. My depression did return but that's just me and it was years later so i doubt , it was the med. Good luck!!!
