Hello Everybody!!!

Thought it was time for a new Daily Check In Thread!!!  I hope everybody is having a good Day/Night!!! 

Mine was interesting actually.  And the weather was fantastic!!!  I think we are going to get rain, but we need it.  It gets dry here fast.  We have a lot of sand.

Remember to post here and let us all know how your day is going...  And we can all look forward to Joyce's Smiler of the day!!!

Jasmine is very hyper. She had to have an annual exam, shots and heartworm blood draw. When she gets in the truck, she tries to get all the cars going by. And my anxiety doesn't help the situation. She has separation anxiety with me. She is by my side 24/7. She is calm in the house for the most part, but barks when people come over and gets even more upset when they leave. She doesn't want anybody to leave. But I love her... She is my dog, my faithful companion. My husband is too. LOL...

Alexis, you are like me and have no washer and dryer in your house. I hate doing laundry...

Yes a little frustrating.

I hope  it doesn't make it tougher to just be able to wash our clothes now. because me being on my meds. I have a hard time getting up in the morning especially my new med to calm the sezuires down from my concussion but I had a good day today no sezuires I was happy. Hope your day or night is  going well it is 11:20pm here in Hamilton Ontario. So I will be going to bed shortly been a LONG DAY. Night friends Alexis :-)

Hi Everyone,

Just finished having a shower and having my breakfast not sure what I am doing today as  we have thunder showers

supposed to come but its only 40 % I hope you all are having a great day and night we are still having the nice warm sunshine I love when spring and summer are here I hate winter. Have a great all. Alexis

Hey Karen and everyone,

Its raining here in Hamilton ontario we are supposed to be having thunderstorm soon I am glad I went out early this afternoon and got my stuff done before all the thunder and lighting came I hate thunderstorms. Hope all are have a nice day or night its day time for me its about 2pm here. I had one sezuire lastnight but night no sezuires. hope my concussion is healing fast. Alexis :-)

just read the thread, sorry i have been missing in action for a bit. just a real lot going on. the nocturia is savage at the moment, oh well. i got the doctor in 5 days so hopefully something will be done, probably a request to a urologist, we will see, unless he tries me on another medication. the pharmacist said there are some other better ones, albeit you have to begin on the first on prescribed.prescribed.

weather has been nice the last few days, but it is going to turn very cold and ugly from tomorrow and the rest of the week. boo. tomorrow is mother's day here down under, and my sister is taking me down via car. that is nice, it is a fair way on the trains. so to all mums, even if your not from down under i say happy mother's day to all of you.

take care everyone. i have finally got my place back after a mate stayed for 4 weeks. i need my space. keep well guys. know that i am thinking of you all. thanks for the smilers joyce, very funny indeed. they always make me smile. hugs and healing prayers to all.

Well lots have been happening here. We have a new family member. His name is kitty kitty (original huh?). My husband found him at his work and brought him home. I am so glad we did because we are having horrible thunder storms move through this weekend. I am glad we were able to give him shelter.

On the other hand, my puppy dog wants to play with him but my other cat wants to eat him. Any suggestions beside introduce them slowly to one another?

Everyone have a super weekend! And, Happy Mother's Day and also to all the dad's who are Mom's too!!!!

That's difficult. Very thoughtful of you to give KK a home. Hope they all settle down and don't add to your pressures.

I have two former feral cats who have lived with me since '07 and NOW, one of them doesn't like his brother. I'm trying to solve THAT problem.

I think in these situations, all you can do is hope for the best. I think big kitty will eventually accept kitty kitty. I hope so for you.

You are so sweet to take kitty kitty in. I have dogs but if a stray cat came in, I would let him stay. Not a her, because of babies. Unless I got a her fixed. Then there is always a chance of them getting hit on the road, we have high traffic.

I hope that they all get along okay.

Hey Everyone,

Sure I'll do that for you lol. Best of luck with that. I just woke up from a nap slept about 2 hrs its's 7:41pm here I am just finishing watching a movie on Tv. I went out earlier this afternoon and had lunch them came home and listened to music on my computer Hope the Dinner went well :) Alexis :-)

Morning All-

Bittersweet day for me. Love the fact that I am the mom to two beautiful children. Hate the fact that I can't wish my mom a Happy Mother's Day. Still so angry she dropped herself out of my life 2 years ago. Still haven't heard from her since June of 2011.

Today, I am going very hard to concentrate on the positive and not let her ruin my day. I need a pity party cry first then I will be positive.

Joyce, your smilers made me laugh. I needed that laugh this morning.

Happy Mother's Day to all of our mothers- whether it be children or our precious pets!!!! We are all caregivers and deserve to celebrate our day!!!
