Thanks for starting the new thread Trina. I went mushrooming today, but I think that they are over. The season was short this year.

We got some new tomato plants that we are going to leave in pots instead of planting in the ground. Kind of like a patio tomato.

What happened  with you Carl? I am a little  confused Alexis

 

Wendy, yes they are morels, but I think that the season is over. We found huge ones yesterday but they weren't any good. They are deteriorating now. Bummer, the season was short.

We are having a weird spring. 80 one day and 40 the next. Lost the tomato plants so we had to get more. I think we are going to keep them in pots instead of planting in the garden. Safer that way. I want to plant beans but I am afraid to.

Karen- what other hobbies to you do beside mushrooming and crocheting? I am looking for ideas for the rest of the summer. I have a cross stitch going and I am reading but I am looking for other ideas too!

I get to teach college today and my husband actually has today off. I am secretly wishing that he cooks dinner tonight- something on the grill.

Hi everyone...

Just 'checking in' to update what's going on.

As you can 'see'...computer is working again, after a big overhaul.
Now the next big project is a visit from my husband's brother and family from Detroit.  Haven't seen them in ages, and they will be staying with us over the weekend.

SOOooo... floors, walls, ceilings need cleaning (just kidding)
I do have a lot of prep work to do, so have decided it's best not to be active on the computer for now.

Miss y'all....hope to be back to 'normal' (whatever that is) on Monday

I would like to thank who ever started this site,last night was my first night on here just by chance. Was starting to lose hope but God always has a way of speaking,I hate to see that Iam not alone in the ups/downs with anxiety/panic&other things. For it's a hard thing to go through. And I wouldn't wish on anyone&for anyone that prays to God,please pray my strength&also my mother who refuse to give up on me&is fighting this war with me. As I got to get better not just for me but for her too,so that we both may have peace.

I tried writing on my cellphone earlier on my wifi but it was not working just came back from my bank. I am hoping they can help me out going to see  if I can get a line of credit from my bank Got a lot of debt I have to pay thanks to living in crappy apartments that cost me to have replace furtinture and a new bed because of bed bugs. And I have to share my Depression Testimonial.

I had a young girl, 18, stay after class today and admit to me that she suffered from depression. Why she chose to tell me this I will never know. I had the opportunity to give her a hug and tell her that I did too. She began to cry and said "then you really understand". My response "I really understand". This is what I believe was a God given moment. I got to share my depression story with her. It meant the world to me today and today was a great day for me so I was able to help her I think.
