sorry guys, i haven't been around much. i am very agitated at the moment. oh well. i am clearly still in this depressed fog. yeah a phase i know but it is very grinding indeed. i can't think clearly at the moment, my head is tired and feeling very trashed. sleep, what is that again??!!! i am resisting the strong urge to have a nap. it is biting but i will try and fight it.

been busy the last 2 days. today i went and got diabetic supplies, went to my government agency to ask an important question and went to the photo lab about enlarging some photos and stuff. i have done my didhes walked the fur-ball and hung wadhing on the line as well. so tired and not with it. i have so many bills that i am drowning in them. my gardener comes to do my lawns tomorrow, i have to find money for him. i have a big front and huge back-yard thus it costs a bit. he does it cheaper for me, thus i am lucky, i am a regular client and always pay, some of his clients bugger him around.

my sister owes me some money as well as does her partner. yep i am back to being a bank again. i am trying to save to get back overseas to see my partner and i have already dipped into my savings. boo. just so tired. i also loaned my neighbours friend some smokes too. i am way to kind for my own good. i have played tunes but nothing is perking me up. i am burning some incense to calm my mind, it is making me very sleepy. my pain in my neck shoulders and arms is relentless. payday is saturday for me. but this money will be gone bedore i see it.

i am smoking like a train and drinking coffee like it is going out of fashion!! i can't keep up with everything. it is getting too much. i am awaiting for the extra lamictal to kick in. it hasn't yet and i know i have to give it some time. i guess i will keep soldering on. maybe i will have a nap later. thanks for listening and for your care and support. know that i care about you all.

thank you very much ua. i am going to veg out and watch the cricket tonight. yeah no ashes and no win for us aussies. this is the last test match, 5th. maybe some pride will kick in and we will have a win!! we have lost the last four and lost the ashes so can we win one at least??

my mate just rang to advise me that there is a ozzie osbourne special on in under an hour. will have a look at that.

Hey to Gizzmo from Jazzy..

Great idea!!

I went for cystoscopy today and everything went great. The bladder is ruled out as a problem. Kidney scan got lost on hospital computer and we re-do fri am and go see doc end of next week. I have family history of kidney disease and i have all but one of risk factors (HBP, overweight, smoker over 60) sooo we'll just see...

Thanks for all the positive thoughts guys-I'm really whooped so I'll check in tomorrow-my day off procedures!

hey all, just popping in to say g'day. the ozzie osbourne special was very cool indeed a great depiction of his music and his life. i especially liked the part when they went back to the black sabbath era of his career. i am a big fan of ozzie, both solo and in black sabbath. sorry i am rattling on. i watched some cricket last night but it is raining over there thus it is back to bs television.

i have walked the fur-ball, taken clothes of the line been up to the shops as well. my neighbour came over for a cuppa, i got paid back my smokes and money from my sister and her partner. this is a bonus. been raining tonight. my gardner was a no show today, was a bit peed of as i got the money together for him. he is notorious for forgetting me. no worries i will catch up with him. i rang my mum tonight and she is crook with the shakes. she is trying to get into her fully booked in gp. i said to advise the receptionist that she is very crook so that she can be seen quicker.

i will call her in a few days to see how she is doing. it is as per usual-cold, and wet. winter!! i am just vegging out tonight. have been in a lot of pain today, oh well you get that. i am going to take it easy tomorrow. i am not looking forward to saturday, my pay-day. bloody shopping!! you know i dislike shopping with a passion. i will not see much coin as it will be all swallowed up in bills. well take care all. hi to ua, av, michele, trina, karen, mags, display, stillme, joyce-a shout out, cass, a shout out, chartruex a shout out hi to gizzy, beagleman and anyone i have forgot. you know who you are!!!

Good morning all ......

   A little dark and dreary with a distant thunderstorm overnight. Giz is sitting right next to me while I'm on the computer now ... and last night, he woke me up three times by jumping up with me while I'm sleeping. He sure doesn't like the atmospheric changes. I don't need a barometer in the house. I've got Giz!

   His walk was late this morning - and uneventful. One little dog being walked in the distance ... and none in the neighborhood today!

  

   Another note about bone scans ........... if you ever have to get one:

It is open on the sides, so it's not completely enclosed. I remember having an MRI once, and THAT was nasty because it was completely enclosed. The toughest part of the bone scan is the mental hurdle ... then while it's being given, staying still fro 20-minutes. I remember hearing "14-minutes left" and I needed to scratch my nose sooo bad ... just had to re-focus ... thin about something else!

   It's kind of an ugly and slightly humid day here ....... hopes it's nice wherever you are. And have a good day! 

Good morning all .......

   Gizzy was such a good boy this morning ........ I woke him up at 6am. That's a first. I had to prompt him before he'de do his howling and running back and forth (the way he normally wakes me up).

   Our drive was a good one ... little traffic ... sunny ....... and right out of our development, we saw the two great whites!!!!! Then, on the way back just before entering our development, we saw the two great whites again.

   The two great whites are, of course, the Great Pyranese that seemed to have moved in nearby in the past few months. Boy ... they're big! Like two big gentle Ben's!

   And Gizzy's howl were timely ... no wasted howls this morning.

Actually, I wish I was able to walk better for some distance - so that I could along with Giz meet some of the fido's in the neighborhood. I think Giz would love to rub noses with one of those Pyranese.

You are the rock of this forum. You always answer, you are always a positive and caring person. You have a huge heart and we are so lucky to have you here. You and Jamie were the reason I started posting again and now I am meeting so many other terrific folks. You start my day with a smile.....and coming from this old hard core depressive, that means alot!!!

I know you have bad times but you never dwell on them, you just grab Jas and keep on truckin-lol.

It's been a tough and crazy 3 days for me. I'm sure glad it's Friday.

Jamie: We've got cricket here as well. It's just with the Caribbean islands though, and it's 20/20. I'm not following up on it though. I've just been hearing updates on radio while travelling. Well, I hope you mom will be okay.

Mags: Glad the cystoscopy results were good. Hope the kidney scan this morning went well. keep us posted when you get the results.

Michele: I'm happy to hear/read how excited you sound about work.
Thanks for asking about dad. The good news is he got discharged Wednesday evening. The not so good news is he's not feeling too well so my mother can't leave him alone.
The doctors informed us that they cannot do anything more for him (no stents or surgeries). A 3rd surgery is too risky. He's on maximum meds presently. They cannot cut him a 3rd time unless it's an emergency like something bursts in him.
The docs can't do the 2nd stent they wanted to do, because there's a very high risk that an artery may burst and they will have to cut him, so they're not going to take that risk.
If he has pain or problems or another heart attack, we can take him to the hospital and they will treat him and comfort him.

Karen: Glad you had a good day today. I agree with Mags. You're a very caring, kindhearted, wonderful person. I know that this forum means a lot to many of of here too including me. No matter what you're going through, you still find some way to cheer us up and offer comforting words to us.
