Good afternoon or evening .......
Thanks Karen -
Will not know the results until meeting with the Oncologist next Wednesday. But ....... for those of you with any amount of claustrophobia, like me to some degree!!!! The technician at the full body bone scan had a simple but cool little trick ... that worked!
As you might know, the full body bone scan very slowly moves you thru a raidiation device while you're flat on your back. It start out at your face - and moves down to your toes in a total of 20-minutes. The machine is very close so you feel much like in a tight coffin ... if that can be imagined!!!
All the technican did, and he described it first, was to simply place a white folded over wash cloth over my eyes - did not block out all light - but did block out what was happening visibly in front of your eyes, as well as, your poriferal vision.
Darn .......... it works ........ no panic at all!
Do I know how to have a fun day?
Hope everyone had a good day ... or at least a peaceful one.
