Hi there,
Welcome to the forum. I don't know about mood charts, I have never tried one. But I would recommend getting some books on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Or CBT. It teaches you to be able to control your moods, and that is a lot of our types of problems. Not necessarily how you felt at what point and why... But to be able to control them altogether.
There are so many events in life and we don't have to let them all effect us. In my opinion, that would be nipping it in the bud. I wish you the best. I hope that the mood charts help you. But if you want a good book, you can get one cheap on Amazon. It is called "Feeling Good" by Dr. David Burns. I got a copy for 6.00. And you receive them quickly.
Keep posting, it does help a lot. We can't discuss suicide on this forum, so we can't discuss your thoughts about it. There is a site called needymeds.com. Some companies will give you medications for a year. As long as you have a prescription. A lot of mental health organizations have what is called a "sliding scale". Sometimes you can get cheap services. Or make a payment plan. Your mental health is very important to life. So ask about a sliding scale, look up the needymeds, and think about looking for some self help books. I really hope you feel better soon.
Hugs, Karen...
