I've been suffering from depression for more than 2 years now and I'm just sick and tired of it. I want to get rid of it and move on with my life but at the same time I feel helpless.

Anyway, I read about Laminine from a certain blog saying that this "supplement/miracle drug" is appropriate for treating or at least minimizing depression. The blogger gave the link where she's buying the product ******

I also googled it and I found many testimonials about healing from cancer, stroke, alzheimer's, insomnia... and yes, depression. The reason given (among others) was Laminine increases the serotonin levels which plays a major role in eliminating or at least minimizing
depression. I am not familiar with it or how it works or if it even works. The product is sold for I think $188 which is kinda expensive but if it's effective I'll buy it, if it's not I'm not gonna waste my money on it. The blogger has personally tried it(or at least that's what she claims) and she added that it's safe, effectively cures diseases, discovered by a Canadian doctor...

Anyway, anyone here who has tried it?

I would appreciate any info.

I'd talk to your dr before trying anything. Your pharmacist may also know information that could be helpful.

I've never heard of it, much less tried it. Maybe someone else will know something. I'd still ask a medical professional before trying it.

PLEASE ........

   There is an old saying about "one being born every minute" .... and I "used to have some land in Florida"!

   There is no such thing as a miracle drug ........

unless ................ it's faith!!!!!

   And I don't mean faith in a $188. bottle of meds .....!!!!

   Ask a licensed doctor first for a suggestion.

Have you run it past your doctor?

Are you on other medications?

Is this approved by the FDA?

What's in it? Is it a prescription medication or is it OTC vitamins and minerals? Once, someone was touting on the fibromyalgia board an injectable solution that turned out to be mostly saline.

Desperate people will do almost anything to get better.

I had to edit your post and remove the link for the product in question, in accordance to our rules.

I also would discuss this with your doctor. I myself would be very doubtful of a product touting so much benefit.

For most people there is no "cure" for depression. You learn to live and cope with it through daily "coping skills" and possibly medications. Life does get better in time.

I'm taking Paxil (paroxetine). I used to take Prozac but I suffered from asthenia so I stopped it and there's another one that also didn't work.

It didn't say if it is FDA approved. I guess, it's not sold in drugstores but via MLM.

Yes, I'll consult my doctor about it.

You cannot talk about the product here if you have a vested interest in it. I am sorry.

I am glad that you are feeling better. But you cannot sell products on this forum.
