Left hip and right knee are killing me. I wish my doctor would do something for me but he wont, hes a turd.

Ice or heat, elevate the knee, and some ibuprofen! I can't take NSAIDs so my dr gave me tramadol. I understand the dr thing. The dr says I have the knees of a 70 year old but says I'm too young for anything but tramadol. I use my heating pad a lot and a nice soak in a hot bath helps. I'm sorry you're hurting.

pain sucks. i hope it gets better. me, slipped disk and arthritis riddled in neck and shoulders. i use a walking stick so i get ya. i go a nice bath when it gets too much. feel better soon missjd.

A/V- I can't take tramadol, it doesn't work for me. My doctor has taken xrays and I have hip dysplasia but he wants to wait til the last moment to replace hip and now it's effecting the right leg. So maybe he will do something for me now. Idk

Jamie- Thank you. I have arthritis in my back, knees, and arms. Oh the cold weather makes me feel a million years old. My doctor wants me to try and walk alone until I am in a really bad place, well I limp most days now so I think its time for more than 800-1600 ibuprofen at a time.

MissJD, I understand the catch22 you are in. don't move less pain, worse pain when you do move.

Try to walk at least 10mins a day to keep the joints loose. I take gloucosimine to help with the arthritis and it does make a difference, pain is somewhat less.

I hope the doc makes a choice for you soon.

Oh!! Ask about Voltaren. It's a rub on medication for arthritis. It worked better than anything I've ever taken!
