can't cry

I am on Prozac 20mgs. I have been feeling rather low the last week and since I have started the proozac, I can't seem to cry. Before, crying wassomething i did VERY easily! I kinda wish I could.. any one else have this as a side effect?

Yes Prof . . . I have heard other people say the same things about their anti-d (not sure it was specifically Prozac). It could be that in the summer months you only need half a pill (if your pill can be split). But only with your doctor's approval. We get more seratonin in the summer with the longer hours of daylight. . . so some people need a lower dose of anti-d.

Talk to your doc and see what he things.

There was a time when I couldn't cry. Now I make it a daily ritual. All I have to do is listen to the news and the things that our children are going through and the lives lost overseas. I can cry on a dime. It softens my heart.
