MissJD,
I have a day like this once a week and it's draining. You carry around so much anger, you are even mad at yourself....there is not a trigger point that you can even look to, to figure out where it started.
On those days, I take a hot shower or bath, put on a good movie (Harry Potters for me) and just go hide. I feel worse when I am around others because I know I will have a tendency to snap for no reason (adds to the guilt you are already feeling).
Some days it better as Kate stated above to get out of the house and spend some time alone...even if it's a 20 minutes...it can help. Sometimes writing helps me too (although I have neglected journaling for a long time).
Those days are difficult to get through and I am sorry. I have had a lot of those days lately myself. I do recognize on those days that I am harboring anger for not knowing how to improve things (similar to when baby is tired and resisting sleep)...
