Hi there,

Rob, it is a balmy 18 degrees. You reminded me, I looked the carnival up too. Beautiful outfits, but I can see what UA was talking about. It is beautiful there though...

I went to town this morning. Wanted to get yarn, and the yarn store was closed. I think it must be Ash Wednesday. I talked to a lady in the parking lot and she had an ash cross on her forehead. We are not suppose to discuss religion so I wont go any further. I just thought it was interesting.

I hope that you feel better. Maybe some deep breathing will help. Try to stay mindful. I know you have a lot on your mind right now, but try to give yourself a break.

Hi Rob and Karen,
Yes! Now you see what our Carnival is about. Rob, those clothes/costumes are very little, but can you believe they cost thousands of dollars? Some of them are very pretty but skimpy. I don't think I can ever wear a costume like that.

Rob, it sounds like Gizzy had lots of fun.

Karen: it's Ash Wednesday here too, but not a holiday here.

JB: Hang in there. I hope you'll feel better soon.

Trina: Hope you had a good time at the park with the dogs.

Well, only 5 people reported for work at the office today. Everyone had to leave half day or early, so I left at 1pm. I was not going to stay there by myself. I was happy to be home early.

Oh, Carl, I would prefer a Civic hybrid. ;)

I have to talk to bf about it tonight. I chickened out last night.

Today was the usual at work. After work, I went to the laundramat, and left clothes in the drier to go see my PCP. I signed a pain meds contract. She switched me over to oxy from hydrocodone with tylenol in it. And, renewed my tramadol. She is a adorable little Asian girl-Fillipina? Thai? But totally Americanized, except for her name.

She also remarked that I seemed more myself. Wellbutrin, three weeks. Then, picked up my dry clothes. I am about out of energy, but still need to monkey with dinner. Thinking of jerk chicken, in honor of UA.

Grrr, need to hang up clothing as well, and put away clothes.

Grrr-I pushed submit too soon.

Rob, glad gizzie has a lady-friend. I love to watch happy animals. I tend to 'voice' them, which I guess can be an irritating habit.

Feel better JB. it is always darkest before the spring.

MissJD-tomorrow is another day.

Tomorrow mornings ... early:

   I sent an e-mail to both of my daughters this morning - something like this:

   GIZMO HAS A GIRLFRIEND

   She's a blonde .... sort of!

   She's about 35-pounds .... my guess!

   She has brown eyes!

   It's not serious ....... yet!

   She's already nibbling on his ear!

   He's jumping for joy!

   But .... he's fixed! And I haven't told him yet!

   My youngest actually thought I got a second dog!!!! Oh well!!!

P.S. - won't be around for much of tomorrow. Got a date with a doctor for my kidney infection and some routine minor surgery. Getting tired of those IV's! Be back on Friday!

Rob- I hope all goes well tomorrow for ya. Yay Gizzy got a girlfriend. Lol

Karen- Thank you for the update on A/V.Darn the yarn store being closed, maybe tomorrow.

U/A- My goodness thousands of dollars? Yikes! Well I am glad that you had an early day, thats always nice.

Myself- I know it is hard to talk with your boyfriend but you can not let it slide anymore. Be calm and stay strong.

JB- Maybe its time to talk with your doc about your meds again. I am sorry that it is not helping but something will I am sure. Stay strong.

Jamie- I am glad that you are feeling well. Stay strong and take it slow.

Benot- I hope you had a very enjoyable day. Sounds fun.

P.S Rob- I dont think that they should cancel but with the guys as they are now is totally not the show anymore. Dont like it at all. They need to go back to how they were. Brothers.

Okay now. I am not feeling the best. I started, I am crampy and tired and sore and blah all over today. My potty is fixed so that's always good. I have my Cardio appointment Friday and kind of getting nervous about that now. I am just sleepy and uncomfortable. Blah more later or tomorrow.

hi guys. sleep. aaaaaaaarghhhhh!!! i have a staph infection on my butt!!!! nurse redressed it today. swab came back saying staph. i am taking antibiotics. sleep is very chaotic. went to do more bloods but they were busy. will go back another time. go back and see the nurse sunday for redressing. it is always something. i have run out of pain killers so i got some from the chemist. doc says thyroid, kidneys, urine, cultures / protein and my diabetes are all good at the moment. my testosterone levels are what i am a little worried about.

in around 2 weeks i start a physio heart program for people who have had a heart attack and or cardiac surgery. i have an appointment for the 16th. it consists of 2 hours a week over 6 weeks; graded exercise, nutrition, diet and social services and guest speakers are in attendance as well.

i am tired guys i have done a fair bit today. no walkies for buttons today. sorry mate. was a nice day, hope it is tomorrow. guys i am still receiving cards from you. so nice. the hospital are forwarding them to my address. i have them up all over the place. they give me strength. thank you guys. well i am pooped. see ya all soon.

Jamie- I am so glad that you can draw strength from our little notes. We sure were worried and missed our Turtle. I hope that nasty infection goes away quickly for you. I understand about pain and no pain killers, yikes I sure hope you slept a bit better and you had a very relaxed day. Slow and steady.

I am so tired again this morning. Oh how I wish sleep did not elude me. Well gotta start the day. Make it a good one all.

I won 50.00 on a scratch off this morning. My lucky day!!!

It was a frigid -22 this morning. But it has warmed up to 16 now. Going to be 37 tomorrow!!! Yay!!!

Well, Carl, if you get rich, I would love a new 4X4 truck!!! I will do the same for you if I get rich!!!

Karen, I live in metro sprawl. You live a rural life (if I remember correctly). LOL, running one of those would bankrupt you around here in gas prices alone.

Yes I am in a rural area. A lot of miles in between things. I probably couldn't afford the gas anyway. My truck has a V8. But doesn't burn as much gas...

Hi All,

Karen, yes the deer can be distructive, however I choose to view them as a help in keeping the bushes trimmed and the under growth clear!

Off to support group, roller coaster day. Boston cream donut might be needed on the way with a decaf coffee. Or should I be good and just take water? Hmmm.. hard choice.
