Just started Effexor..37.5XR for depression and anxiety symptoms that seem to be unmanageable at this time. I've only been on it for two days but already seem to feel better. Wondering how Effexor has helped others?

I took it for 15 years and it really helped. When it went generic, I switched to pristiq, which works just as well for me.

I hope that the effexor works for you. Keep us posted.

I started with 75 mg. I am now up to 225 mg. Effexor worked pretty well for some time, but the past year has been hard. My doctor upped the effexor and then added wellbutrin, which helped immensely. It does time to build up in your system, so be patient.
