AV-Ditto what JB said. Often, the courts will charge these fees as a money making venture. It's legal but it's mean.

Hello all who I have missed!

Yesterday was fun. Ran around the National Zoo all day with 6 13 YO boys. A good workout. Then I totally crashed. I forgot I had a therapy appointment yesterday afternoon. Fibro just shifted all available mental power to the field trip, and I missed it. about to do the grovel and apologize.

Just got back from taking BF to airport. He is going to see his family for a week, as his nephew graduates.

Today I am resting. I gotta say, yesterday took a lot, and now I have very little left.

Good morning (again) .........

   I just lost my last post that was just written. I guess it went to never never land! I love computers as much as carpenters love architects!~!!!!!

  

   There is something that I was just going to write about that I would like to ask for opinions on. Please keep in mind, in the following story, that my goal was to try to develop a friendly relationship with someone - friends and nothing else!

   A few months ago, in my Spirituality support group, one of the women there made a comment to me about letting her know how my first group medical hypnotist meeting went. She seemed to be very nice and had all kinds of medical problems but was not afraid to talk about them. It seemed like maybe a mutually respectful relationship could be possible.

   A few days after the Hypnotist session, I found out her tel number and called her. I couldn't believe that we were talking on the phone for three hours - just like we had known each other for years. A call came in for her. She asked if she could call me back and asked for my number. Fifteen minutes later, I got a call from her .... and we were on the phone for another three hours. NOW - I'm a phone person - but 6-hours in one evening set a record for me!!!!!

   She was supposed to be getting some medical information in the next day or two which had to do with an operation - so I called her in three days. No one answered - and I left a message. about five days later, I got a call from her - that lasted about 5-minutes ... and all she could talk about was that she was functioning that moment as a Nanny for a 17-year old girl.

   That Support group only meets once a month. So, in the past couple of months, she has acted very cold to me personally. I had tried calling her two or three times - but no one answered and her answering machine was either full or turned off - or she was monitoring and wouldn't answer. 

   At the last Spirituality support group, the three ladies that are usually there seemed to form a High school click between each other .... AND another very uncomfortable thing happened - a new member started and boy did she look like a he!!!!

   Forgetting the new member ......... anyone got any suggestions as to what might have turned everything around totally? She did call me back that first night and contributed on the phone about her life - including some very private things. I pretty much did the same. But - there was no foul language, down'n dirty stories or any attitudes that night!

   I will be leaving the "high school" group this Friday. I'll let the 3-1/2 women have their own brand of fun - I guess! I have tried to think of "what did i do wrong"? I'm lost! It's just too strange!!! And I have reason to believe this lady is spreading rumors about me. She did that with another man early this year ... who ended up commiting self-destruction!

   Is this a crazy world or what????

   Any one have any ideas????

   With my own circumstances the past few days, I have not written about any of you fine people. I've been too absorbed with my own stuff!

   I hope JB1 was able to give you some very good direction on the ridiculous things you're going thru right now. If anyone, she would probably be the one with the best advice for you.

   It would seem that negating the stupid court fine is the first thing. While you're writing down all the things that JB1 advised - would it be worth building a court case background for small claims??? Don't know what the limit is in Arkansas - but there are no attorneys fees involved - and it's easier to win in that court - being that it just takes a "more than likely or not" to win!

   congrats on the job even if only a week of busting buns!!!!

Myself .....

   I caught your prior recommendation on Ensure. I'll ask at the Onco's office next Wednesday. Believe it or not, they took me off of Centrum multi-vitamins a year ago - because the cancer cells do mutate - and they were actually feeding on the freakin vitamins!!! Can't win!!!!

Notes:

   I did not go to excercise today - but did eat more and decent food today. It's 82-degrees out and Gizzy and i need to get out again. We only got 30-minutes out at 4pm.

   Enjoy something!

AV- I wish I could snap my fingers and make all this go away. I don't have any advice, but I'm praying for you. Love you!!

Rob- people are so strange, including women. You didn't do anything wrong. I hope you and Gizzy got out for a walk this afternoon.

Well, I had quite a day. I lost my temper with a kid. Probably first time in ten years that I blew up. There were nine other students in the room at the time. After I blew up, I felt so guilty. Went and found my boss and confessed that I simply allowed him to push my buttons. She said don't worry about it - I've heard from all his teachers that he is acting like a toot.

I then go upstairs to teach a class and two kids approach me and they say " hey, I heard you got mad at Joey today and threw a marker at him." I was mortified. I didn't throw a thing!!! Rumors like that can ruin a teachers career. I went straight to my boss and told her what the kids said. We decided we needed to call joeys mom and let her know what he was saying.

Just got off the phone with his mom who also happens to be a teacher. Joey admitted to mom that I didn't throw a thing anywhere and told her that he told some people that I did. She was so upset with him. She's going to call my boss, the principal, the assistant principal tomorrow and tell them her son was lying.

I appreciate her. But, I just hope damage already hasn't been done. I still don't know for sure if I'm moving in the math classroom next year. I don't want anything to jeopardize it! I'm so terrified it will. Guess we will see.

Well time to do the dishes!!

Michele, we all have a limit. With everything going on (and how poorly behaved some kids are) you should get a medal that you held on for so long. Maybe this will be a moment in his life that teaches him the power words can have.

My mom has offered to pay for a lawyer. She wants me to find the best I can find ASAP. I will be doing research on this all tomorrow. Thanks to you all. I've been teetering on the edge of my ability to cope over this all. The support means a lot. Let's hope I can remain a free bird and not a jail bird.

   AV ..... so good to hear financial help is on the way. Now, as they say - time to get the monkey off your back - starting with the court system. How have you been - physically - during all of this? GOOD luck on this next chapter. I hope something was salvaged for your son's birthday thru all of this.

   Michele ..... oh can I relate to damage being done by an untrue rumor! I hope the system completely accepts the untruths! By the way - my daughter did look at boots last week-end. Those pointed toes are great for crushing palmetto bugs in the corners - but rather pricey!!!

   HT ...... been years - but i remember those bombing days in Florida. And if there's no dog around, then they really get after us humans!!!

   Karen ..... do you need a license for hunting mushrooms? (yuk-yuk)

   UA ..... another 3-day week-end coming?

   Chotti ..... did I just see you on a John Deere commercial?

Notes:

   A beautiful morning - about 67-degrees at 8am - bright and sunny! Yesterday, it did get up to 87 and the early evening was humid - but today it's supposed to be up to the low 80's!

   I have a support group meeting in a little over an hour - 2-1/2 weeks after one of our members passed away. This meeting should have a little different attitude than the last meeting.

   And tomorrow ... is the support group meeting I had earlier referred to. I still need to contact my mentor (a separate issue) - should do that today!

   And last .... got to watch how much time i spend out with Gizmo and what time of the day it is also. Yep - they are Northern dogs, lots of hair and they don't mix well with heat and humidity. Good thing my daughters dog (BF's dog) has short hair and loves the heat of the sun!!!

Hey Rob,

They want to make us get llisences for mushrooming and berry picking. But no way!!! I have done it all my life. Found some nice whites and greys today. Went out early.

It is in the 60's here I think but suppose to warm up some each day.

Hey UA and Karen .....

   I know I did nothing wrong - relative to this lady. And I wouldn't call her a friend. It just blows my mind how someone can do a 180 turn so quickly!

She has a charming innocent voice on the phone and seems to care so much about so many.

   She's a nurse who had to stop working because of a huge amount of medical problems - not the least of which is Crohns since her early years and having much of her small intestine removed in later years + cancer in the past few years. She drives a 20-year old car ... and I could go on and on.

   She was SO comfortable to talk to - and it seemed very much visa-versa! Anyhow ........ I've never had anyone do such a quick reversal - and then on top of it - seemingly create stories into rumors to be spread. I think mental imbalance needs to be added to her list of problems.

   Summary - I just thought perhaps some of you women might have an idea of "what the ****"! You know - it's a Mars - Venus thing!!!!

Additional notes:

   Karen ..... I think you should have to have a license for mushroom hunting, berry picking and dog walking. And I say this because I'm way too far away from you - for you to hit me by throwing something!

   UA ...... please remember .... i saved your BF's e-mail address! And I'm even farther away from you than from Karen. And ..... what the heck is gettin your hair "flat-ironed"? Sounds painful!!!!!!

Oh Rob, you always make me smile or laugh. Lol.
Flat-ironing your hair is not painful. It just means temporarily straightening your hair. My hair's not curly, it's straight but when you flat-iron it, it's really straight. They use a hair styling tool call a flat-iron. There are also curling irons.

It's really weird about the lady and I can't think of any idea why she would do that. Maybe she's just moody? One day enjoys socialize and another not? I don't know...

Karen, hope your hubby get this set of mushrooms. Hope your day is good so far.
