Hello Display ..........
This is a three-day week-end for most of us here. So - why not try this for each of the next three mornings:
Think of & write down 5-things you're grateful for ..... on each day!!! I noticed by your signature, you've had some prostate concerns. I have stage #4 prostate cancer - so I understand concern!
Let me give you an example of 5-things I might list of grateful things:
1) So grateful I can see the beauty of nature with my old eyes
2) So grateful I can feel the warmth of the sun after this winter
3) So grateful I can breathe clearly thru my damaged lungs
4) So grateful I have food and drink for nourishment
5) So grateful my problems are solveable and so small
The above are my 5-things. They may be taken for granted. But, maybe they shouldn't be. The above may sound too philosophical, so let me give you 5-more that i really did think about yesterday:
1) Sitting outside with my dog enjoying the cool breeze on my face.
2) Also while sitting outside - noticing how high the clouds were today.
3) How fresh and new everything looks outside in the Spring.
4) How glad I was a morning semi-pointless meeting was ending.
5) How good that bottle of cold water was after the meeting.
Now - the above are 5-real things from yesterday - all seemingly very insignificant - BUT, ARE THEY? They're all positive thoughts - no matter how small! That's the point!
