new to this site

Hi ya my name is Bill. i am 54 yrs old with Chrohn's and Charcot Marie Tooth Disease.   Neither of them are life threatining but no cure for either of them.  They have been kicking me in butt lately.  Been feeing down lately.  The CMT disease is a disease that gets worse with age.  It is a deteriation of the nerves.  Hereditary disease.  Dad had aunts, uncles, and cousins.   I am going to see a doc about this soon.   My concern is the drugs side affects.  Don't need any of that stuff.  Been on lots of drungs for my chrohn's with lots of side affects.  So like i said don't need any more.  Going to do some research on homeopathic meds.  Lot better for you..

Just trying to get out of this darn Dip in life.  Usually iam not a negative person.  Usually i am very Positive.  Lately i am letting it control me.  Not Good.  

Has anyone tryied herbs or homeopathic for depression?

   I was at a seminar last week for "herbs, vitamins & supplements - helpful or harmful?"

   While the seminar was geared for cancer patients, it was open to the public. It was given by a highly respected local doctor of Alternative Medicine, Medical and Physical Therapy.

   He has a website you may find interesting - and that may lead you in one direction of help other than traditional medications.

   His name is Patrick B. Massey and he is an MD and has a PHD.

the best I can do for you is to see a Chinese Herbalist. I have met a few people at my depression support that swear by them.

they have to be certified though, as for credentials.

If that herbs are legal and someone had given a positive response for that,then there is no harm in taking those herbs.
