One more--I'm sorry--brain fog--same not only to AV but whoever is from the adoptive family--and everyone else.

CheleL: Thanks for being proud of me and thanks for the prayers and hugs. It's good to know that I'm not alone!

Trina: Thanks for the hugs and I think I said that earlier in a post that even though this is an online forum it really has helped me a lot. It means a lot to me.

By my calculation, you should be out of surgery and in the recovery room now. yaberdaberdoo!!!!! Of course, it'll be small steps for a while, but we know you can do it! And I bet you've got the same attitude, HeartfeltOne. By overcoming this, watch out world! :)

I am beginning to worry. I should check and see if there is an email address in her profile. I hope everything is okay. She didn't want to have the surgery, now I feel bad trying to persuade her to have it...

Dear Karen, please do not feel guilty for expressing your thoughts! HFO needed the surgery or else she could've faced severe consequences.

I saw her email--are you going to write her? I bet she shows up in the next day or two. Fingers crossed that all is fine.

I heard from HFO. I believe she had to have an additional surgery. She plans to post when she gets home and is hoping that will be tomorrow. I think that they want her to stay longer but she wants to and needs to go home. But she is okay... Just things are taking a little longer than anticipated.

Karen, thank you SO much!!! What a relief that she went ahead and had everything taken care of. No doubt she's in a hurry to get home because of her daughter, pooch, and fish...plus, there's no place like home.
