Feel like I can't go on.

I don't think I can live with TMJ/TMD/Bruxism it's too darn painful, and it's only getting worse. My insurance is completely useless, when it comes to TMJ, and I don't have the money for expensive treatment plans, that might work.

The off chance I get a job, I won't be able to keep it. A majority of the time, I have very little energy, and I'm almost always late where I have to be, cause of sleep deprivation. The sleep deprivation stems from a fear of sleeping (due to sleep clenching) and intense pain. I'm also not eating properly, cause it hurts to chew.

I've tried telling myself so many times, it's not okay to clench, before falling asleep, and it still happens anyway. I don't even remember doing it, I just wake up with intense pain, some mornings worse, then others.

along with my TN I clench in my sleep. I found a mouth piece over the counter from the pharmacy along with meditation prior to sleep is my best combination.

meditations takes a while to become very effective, well worth the time and effort tho. No oaming needed.

Go to Mindful.org and read about simple mindful meditation.

Also, you might want to talk to a counselor or therapist about dealing with daily chronic pain.

The problem is I can't afford a mouth guard, right now. Not even the cheap ones.

I've tried asking my Dad for help, he doesn't care, and my mother can't afford to do anything.

I was seeing a chiropractor, they neglected to inform me my insurance wasn't paying for the adjustments. Now I owe them 240 dollars, and they want me to give them 20 dollars per a week, which is impossible right now. I sneaked out of the place, before they could get me to sign anything.

Not very mature, but what else am I supposed to do? I can't give them what I don't have. They will get there money, some day.

Down the road, I'm probably gonna have to go somewhere else for adjustments. I heard chiropractors are the only ones, that can fix TMD. I'm just worried about my left jaw, permanently locking out of place, before I can seek help.

My uncle and step grandmother use to have TMD/Bruxism. They got cured, cause they could afford treatment. Not me, I fear I'm stuck with TMD for life.

I don't think, I qualify for medicare. The insurance I do have, is for the poor, in my state.

I never worked before, so I can't get unemployment. I'll be getting SSI soon, but not soon enough. There's a good chance I'll get denied, after seeing one of SSI's doctors, on Monday. Then again, who knows. I've been pretty distraught, thanks to this TMD crap. If SSI does deny me, my grandfather is getting a lawyer, but it could take anywhere from 6 months to a year, to get.

Another year of TMD is a total nightmare.

I've been hanging in there, bruxism seemingly got better, then a cold front came in and I clenched like there was no tomorrow. Next I know I have high pitched tinnitus accompanied by intense ear pain. Coincidence? I think not.

Does bruxism related tinnitus ever go away? It's driving me insane. I don't think I can live with it for the rest of my life. I'm only 25.

Saw my doctor this afternoon. I have some mysterious ear thing.
Otitis Media, maybe.

My symptoms are inflamed ear canal, throbbing ear drum, obnoxious ringing, and lack of air, (in other words my left ear doesn't pop.) O_O

I gotta get a CAT scan, and follow up with a ENT asap.
Whatever it is, I hope it can be treated. I'm a bit scared.
